Giving proper credit to the digital scraps designers is very important.  Not only is it acknowledging someone’s work but it is also showing them that you love their work and I believe, it encourages them to make more freebies!  And we all know how awesome freebies are!  I am not limiting myself to freebies, though but I do look for them regularly.  When I do find kits that I love, I do not hesitate purchasing them.

A few friends have asked me how I keep track with the designers that I use for crediting or acknowledgment purposes.  It’s simple, really.  I just open Microsoft Notepad (you can use any word program that you have) and type in all the designers of the kits that I use.  I find this helpful because I do have a habit of mixing kits from different designers in one scrap page.

Here’s an example of how I do the credits:

Papers: Shazbutt’s Digi-Scrapz, Little Star Kit | Margote, Amarelle Kit
Emebllishments: Plaisirs d’hiver, Partie Kit
Word Art: Margote, Andaloucia Kit
