I ♥ Creative Challenges

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

I recently signed up to the Oscraps Forum and I am absolutely addicted to their challenges!

This week, the Designer Spotlight is on fei-fei stuff and I love her FULL TILT Challenge!  I have already made two layouts from her template and I thought the results were amazing (tooting my own horn but who cares?)!

The first submission is one of the MOMster when we were at the Disney California Adventure Park a few weeks ago.

Laugh Out Loud!

The next entry is one from our wedding last year.  I thought it was appropriate and added my own text scream and shout.

Scream and Shout

For both scraps,  I used the freebie kit provided for the challenge by fei-fei stuff and added a few elements from Danielle Young Designs on the second layout.

Texts that Follow Paths

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Ever wonder how text form different shapes?  See the text on my new LO?  How did I do it?  Well, it’s simple really and this tutorial will teach you how to do it!  I am using Adobe Photoshop CS2 for this one.

Love Makes the World Go Round

Papers: Kawouette, I Want to be a Child Kit | Margote, Retro Kit | Danielle Young Designs, Spring Breeze Kit | Michelle Heron, Cherry Limeade Papers
Embellishments: Margote, Carpe Diem Kit | Digital-Crea, Cool Chick Partie Kit

There are two parts of this tutorial.  The first one is using the shapes tool and the next one, using brushes.  Both are simple to do and you can choose which one you want to use.

Don’t know how to load brushes?  Leave me a note and I’ll make a quick video for that.  Hehehehe

Enjoy!
